Talk on "Hidden Land Resources – Underground Space Development in Hong Kong"
Land is a scarce resource in Hong Kong. Enhancing the use of underground space can offer new opportunities for Hong Kong's planning and development gains. The above talk, which was organized under the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign, introduced the opportunities for underground space development (including developing rock caverns at urban fringes and underground space in urban areas) and the relevant studies undertaken by the Government.
